Barcelona Supercomputing Center - Centro Nacional de Supercomputación (BSC-CNS), leading supercomputing center in Spain, and one of the leading in Europe, as well as one of FER HPC research group's closest partners in many projects, is offering an International Summer HPC Internship Programme. Closing date is April 1st, 2026.
The Center is looking for outstanding undergraduate students with an excellent academic record and a strong interest in the research fields of the BSC. More importantly, they are looking for highly motivated students who want to conduct a summer research experience at the BSC-CNS.
Key Duties
- The selected candidates will work in an international multidisciplinary and innovative research group.
- The main goal of this programme is to encourage students from any nationality to pursue a scientific career and to introduce them to an HPC environment.
Requirements
- Education
- Candidates pursuing a Bachelor's Degree at the time of the Internship, with availability to do an internship agreement with their University.
- Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
- Having completed the minimum credits ECTS to be able to do an internship agreement with your university (Usually half of the the degree's credits must have been succesfully completed).
